Recently,the Ministry of Education released“Letterofthe Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education onReleasing theApprovalList of theFirstBatch of2019Industry-UniversityCooperativeEducationProjectSupported byEnterprises”. 13 projects of our university have been selected, the number of projects selected ranks the first among colleges and universities in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and the fourth among colleges and universities affiliated to the National Ethnic Affairs Commission of PRC.
Industry-University Cooperative Education Project is a talent cultivation reform project to implement the spirit of the documents“ImplementationOpinionsofthe General Office of the State Councilon Deepening the Reform of Education for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Universities and Institutions of Higher Learning【No.36 GFB (2015)】”and“Some Opinions ofthe General Office of the State Councilon Deepening the Integration of the Industry and the University”, which has innovated the mechanism of industry-university cooperative education, gathered the resources of well-known enterprises domestic and abroad,supportedthe comprehensivereformof majors,and innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities.
The projects selected by Industry-UniversityCooperativeEducationProjectinvolvesmany aspects, such as university-enterprise integration and industry-university cooperation, covers5programsof“Reform ofTeachingContent andCurriculumSystem”, 3 programs of“ConstructionofPracticeConditions and PracticeBase”,2projects of“New EngineeringCoursesConstruction”,2projects of“TeacherTraining”, and 1 project of“ReformofInnovation andEntrepreneurshipEducation”.Seven schools, including the School of Computer Science and Engineering, the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, the School of Mathematics and Information Sciences, the School of Management, the School of Materials Science and Engineering, the School of Business and the School of Economics, have actively contacted and connected with relevant enterprises to deepen the integration of industry and education, and has been approved by the Ministry of Education.
In recent years, our university has payed much attention to the integration of industry and education, the reform of university-enterprise cooperative education and constantly explored the integration of industry and education, and the collaborative education mechanism. The Office of Academic Affairs has conveyed the spirit of the document in strict accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education, strongly supported teachers to participate in the project application, and provide good services for the application work, as a result, the teachers’enthusiasm to participate in the project has been increased year by year. Since 2016, 32 projects of NMU has been selected, which represented the good development in the field of industry-university cooperative education in our university, provided broad platform for educational reform, innovation and entrepreneurship, practice base construction,“new engineering courses construction”, which made an important role in the innovation of industry-university cooperative education and the exploration of diversified mode of enterprise, university and research cooperation.
